Dealing in and exhibiting original works by Australia's most collectable young, mid-career and senior artists.

Dickerson Gallery's work ethic remains closely aligned with those maintained by the artists it represents. Over years of dedication to the arts industry, the Gallery, through a commitment to quality and productivity, has sought to nurture and encourage today's emerging artists in the hope that they may well be amongst tomorrow's most recognised Australian painters, printmakers, photographers and sculptors.

Established in 1992, under the original name of ‘Queen Street Fine Art’, Dickerson Gallery Sydney continues to represent a finely selected group of emerging Australian artists. The Gallery has solo and group exhibitions held monthly with a diverse stockroom selection including paintings, photographs, sculpture, and works on paper. In addition to exhibiting original works by Australia's most collectable young and mid-career artists, Dickerson Gallery Sydney also deals in work by notable senior Australian artists.

Galleries

After successfully operating Dickerson Gallery Sydney for eight years, gallery director Sam Dickerson branched into the Melbourne market. Operated by his half brother Stephen Nall, Dickerson Gallery Melbourne has become a popular inner city gallery with a strong client following for many of its local and interstate artists since it opened its doors in 2000. In July 2008, the gallery relocated from Richmond to the thriving arts precinct of Collingwood. Now housed in a modern converted warehouse, the gallery offers two large exhibitions spaces and will host up to 20 solo exhibitions each year.

The two galleries have successfully integrated the careers of Australian artists interstate, nationally and internationally, and continue to build their stable of represented artists as they expand.

Dickerson Gallery is a proud member of the Australian Commercial Galleries Association (ACGA).
